At homecell last night John, Stephen, Tyler and Wendy gave their hearts to the Lord! That means that they’ll be going straight to heaven if the ole’ beer-truck-with-their-names-on-its-grille runs into them. Actually, I should stop using that saying now… two days ago a beer truck ploughed into a pension payout point killing 15 people.O yes, I also prayed for healing of John’s hip and back whose not in good shape. While he said it is better he didn’t receive a miracle (but we’ll keep believing for that!)
. They’ve got an awesome adventure ahead of them, and I’m excited about what the future holds.Lately I’m trying to come to terms with an acute feeling of frustration and impatience… both, at this level, is plain sinning and I hope I’ll get to the root of this soon before I strangle someone!
Otherwise, not much happening… following interesting threads on Netraver and Hivemind… I may even delurk!
Wrote information systems exam yesterday, went very well, even though I almost rear-ended a bakkie on the way. One of the closest calls I had for many moons.
Guitar practice is coming along rather nicely — I bought Guitars For Dummies this weekend and the enclosed CD is making a world of difference. My fingers are just hurting like hell, but hopefully those calluses will show up in time for me to play Kumbaya at this year’s company Christmas party
