Simple one this time. Chuck a couple of battered or breaded fish fillets and air fry per usual, add a few sliced bagels to basket at 5 mins to done for some light toasting – inside up.
On the ‘ding!’, slap some gherkin slices on the open bagel, put the fish on top with some chili mayo or alioli, plus sauerkraut or kimchi if you want, and close them up to a quite decent fish sandwich. You’re welcome!
Get out of bed early, ignore the protestations of the partner, pet, mind, body and get to the coffee machine. From here on its all smooth sailing.
Take the tube or bus or bike to Angel, start on the Islington border and walk the high street up to Union Chapel and back, finding a spot at a table outside at this point in your journey. Persist, be wily if its busy — you’ll secure one without jostling, which can put a dampener on things if you’re a kind soul. Sit, wait for mates to arrive, have a few drinks and enjoy the sun and the inevitable chats with friendly neighbours.
When the sun hides behind the buildings opposite (as its still a bit low on the horizon), put the hoodie back on (you did remember one, didn’t you?) and head over to the canal and settle for something at the lovely Turkish restaurant between the lock and the primary school. Live, laugh, pay and go home. A Lou Reed Perfect Day.
I have a few that haven’t needed updates for a while now. I’m in two minds if I should be more open about them but you can get a glimpse of it on the home page indicators that could be in the form of stock tickers, tube updates or whatever the going mood is design-wise.
A few thoughts are below, but briefly I cannot overstate the importance of writing them down and looking at it just about every day.

Catchy enough to save, even if the internet disagrees.
